Vibrodrivers offer an ecological alternative to Hydraulic Hammers.

Noise regulations are becoming more strict and contractors are looking for new means to reduce noise emissions. Vibrodrivers are an alternative solution to hydraulic hammers for offshore pile driving. Their vibratory technology produces low noise emissions and complies to the most recent envrionmental regulations. In the contrary, hydraulic hammers produce high noise emission levels during pile driving, disturbing the surronding environment.

Vibratory pile driving
Vibrodriver’s technology produce lower peak sound pressures compared to impact piling and creates a more continuous lower lever of sound throughout the entire pile driving process. In addition Vibrodrivers offer a soft and gradual start and a faster driving (time savings).

Combined Solution
For optimising noise emissions in tougher soil conditions vibrodrivers pitch the pile and rapidly drive it to the possible maximum depth. Afterwards a hydraulic hammer drives the pile the last meters.
This method benefits from a soft and gradual start and reduces the total sound exposure.

Impact hammer
Using Hydraulic Hammers exclusively, produces the highest noise level of any other solution.
This method produces longer sound exposure to the impulsive acoustic energy created upon impact, thus disturbing strongly marine mammals.
